Remember when we held you when you were 3 weeks old.

Remember when we first brought you home, you were afraid to come out of the basket. Everytime we took you out you went right back in.

Remember when you barked for the first time and you couldn't find your voice.

Remember when we took you to Yellowstone and you got a beard full of those round sticky weeds, what a sight you were.

Remember when you ate dandelions as a puppy, your beard would turn yellow and that is why we called you yellowbeard.

Remember when you watched Blues Clues and Teletubbies you always barked at the TV.

Remember when we taught you to jump through a hula hoop and you would always walk around it to get your reward.

Remember when grandma and grandpa would visit and you would find the toy grandma brought hidden in her purse.

Remember when you howled for apples and popcorn.

Remember when you ran to me when daddy said time for bath.

Remember when you sniffed something you didn't like and rubbed and pushed your nose over it.

Remember when the best part of leaving you home was the way you greeted us when we came back.

Remember when you would always get a leaf stuck to your beard when walking outside.

Remember when the neighborhood cats and you would rub faces, they knew you were a lover.

Remember when you would sit in the hallway whenever you heard beeps from the microwave.

Remember when you sensed the earth quake before we did.

Remember when we gave you the elephant blanket. You used the head as a pillow.

Remember when we gave you a birthday party when you were 3. You had a cake and shared it with your friend Bogey.

Remember when we made matching scarfs for all of us. You looked the best.

Remember when we had a bag of all your toys and you were excited as we took them out one at a time.

Remember when you could not push the weeble down no matter how hard you tried. You could knock over the blocks. You never did like objects on the floor that was standing.

Remember when we played hide and go seek and keep-away. They were your favorite games.

Remember when you would check every toy to find the squeaker.

Remember when you played tag with Rudi, she would run away in to the bedroom and then came back charging right at you like a sneak attack.

Remember when you would lay down next to us and watch the entire movie Homeward Bound.

Remember when you ate blackberries right off the vine.

Remember when you barked at the snowflakes as they fell to the ground.

Remember when you use to bite the peanut butter flavored soap bubbles as they floated all around.

Remember when we walked next door to the retirement home and eveyone would pet you.

Remember when you and Bogey went to get your haircut and couldn't wait for everyone to see you.

Remember when I said daddy is coming home and you would get excited and stand by the door barking.

Remember when you and Rudi shared the basket and you looked like a 2-headed dog.

Remember when you would go room to room checking on us no matter wherever we were.

Remember when you always ran away when I tried to put your harness and leash on you. I would have to chase you around and would say "Get back here Chewbacca!". We also would call you Silly Squirrel and Yoda.

Remember when you use to howl when you heard the emergency vehicle sirens.

Remember when you loved to eat the Top Ramen noodles as I dangled them above you.

Remember when I made you a dog necklace with your name on it.

Remember when you were afraid of people carrying grocery bags. You didn't like garbage bags either.

Remember when we went to see the Blue Angels at Lake Washington.

Remember when we walked the trails and watched the hot air balloons fly over us as they landed.

Remember when Seattle had an earthquake in 2000 and we ran to the bathroom and shook like a leaf and I was screaming.

Remember when you would lift your paw anytime you had something stuck in it.

Remember when we were eating dinner and a huge lightning bolt hit close by and we ran into the hallway. The flash was pure white and made the hair on daddy's arm stood straight up. We thought the TV got hit.

Remember when you came in from the rain and ran around in circles to dry off.

Remember when you pounced on me when I ate a cookie in bed.

Remember when we had the big snow fall in December 2009.

Remember when we greeted daddy at the garage when he came home.

Remember when you would tap us with your paw to get our attention when you wanted something.

Remember when you use to get in between us when you felt left out while we sat next to each other.

Remember when daddy picked you up at lunch and brought you back to work to show you off. You were not quite one year old.

Remember when the family of field mice would walk across the branch. You noticed them before us and barked like crazy.

Remember when we took you to the off-leash dog park. I think we were more afraid of the big dogs then you were.

Remember when I gave you a taste of lemon and you thought it was really tasty. You kept licking you lips for more.

Remember when I told you to go away to make you come to me. Reverse psychology worked even though you grumbled when you came to me.

Remember when you would bark at a toy you couldn't reach until we gave it to you.

Remember when you watched Even Stevens and Lizzy McGuire, two of your favorite shows on Saturday morning.

Remember when you chased the laser light all around the room.

Remember when the geese would land on our roof early in the morning and start to honk above our bedroom.

Remember when we use to listen to the woodpeckers and watch the Osprey flying around.

Remember when you use to hate when I popped all those packing bubbles.

Remember when you followed the bouncing ball to the sing-along-song on TV.

Remember when you figured out how not to get tangled around a tree with your leash.

Remember when you use to eat popsicles, watermelon, and cucumbers.

Remember when we played the "I don't want it, you take it" game.

Remember when you always knocked over the shampoo bottles sitting on the bathtub everytime you were scared.

Remember when you pushed my belly because you thought I was hiding a toy in there. I wasn't that big, was I?

Remember when you use to sit between us because you always wanted the attention.

Remember when daddy would sing and hum the 'Rock-a-bye baby' song and your eyes would start to droop slowly until you would fall asleep.

Remember when we took you to your first concert in the park and what a great time we had.

Remember when we saw the Quail family walking along the fence. There must of been about 5 of them.

Remember when you licked the beef flavored toothpaste off the toothbrush so carefully not to get your beard dirty.

Remember when daddy took you in the shower and you scratched the heck out of him. That was not a very good experience.

Remember when we draped the purple towel on you and you pranced around like a king.

Remember when you tried to bite the air from the hair dryer when I tried to dry you after your bath.

Remember when Luke, the boy next door, would come play with you after school.

Remember when Savannah thought we taught you how to play chess. I know. You probably could have beat her.

Remember when the windstorm hit Seattle on December 15th, 2006. We were without power for three days and you were so cold you stayed under the blankets with us.

Remember when you knocked the toys off the couch just so we had to pick it up for you to knock it off again.

Remember when we said goodnight for the last night that you were here and we said "We hope to see you in the morning and in case you don't, we love you forever."
