A living memorial for your animal companion

REMINGTON

April 22, 2010 - November 23, 2021

Today is a special day for us. For it is the day we are going to drive to Pasco, WA to pick up our newest member of our family. He is our third Miniature Schnauzer, and we are naming him Remington. His sister Rudi is going to be in for a big surprise. The drive to Pasco was 227 miles and we decided to spend the night in a hotel. The Seattle weather was cloudy as usual and rainy all the way there. As we were approaching, a rainbow appeared. As it turns out, that rainbow directed us to the house where we were going. We knew right away that it was a good sign.

As we sat in the yard, there were two male puppies to choose from. We chose the one that walked up to us. We then said our goodbyes and went to the hotel to get acquainted. We went home the next day to start our new lives.

Just like Rudi when she lost her older brother Romeo, Remington was very sad when he lost his older sister Rudi. It was very hard for him, and we could tell he was heartbroken. We spent the next two and a half years giving him as much attention as he needed.

It is never easy on the passing of your animal companion.  Remington's passing seemed to be extremely difficult, because he suffered various medical conditions and it happened so quickly. He will always be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. It was at this sad moment, that we realized that we have no animal companion to take care of after 22 years.

You are truly missed by mommy and daddy.
